Griechenland, Athen (?).- Erhängter Mann der griechischen Widerstandsorganisation EPON mit Schild um den Hals an Baum auf einem Platz, daneben Mitglied eines griechischen Sicherheitsbataillons. Aufschrift auf Schild: "Έτσι τιμωρούνται οι πουλημένοι δολοφόνοι του Μανωλάκου" ("So werden die gekauften Mörder von Manolakos bestraft"); PK 690 [English translation: "Man hanged from a tree, with a sign around his neck on a square in a village; nearby, a Greek soldier."]

Ελληνικά: Πρόσθετες πληροφορίες: Αθήνα- Ταγματασφαλίτης δίπλα σε επονίτη απαγχονισμένο σε αντίποινα για τη δολοφονία του διοικητή τμήματος της «Χ» Αμπελοκήπων, Κωσταντίνου Μανωλάκου. Η επιγραφή φέρει τη φράση "Έτσι τιμωρούνται οι πουλημένοι δολοφόνοι του Μανωλάκου"
English: "Athens - A man of the Security Battalions next to a hanged member of the United Panhellenic Organization of Youth as a retaliation for the assassination of the commander of organisation X in the area of Ampelokipi (Athens), Konstantinos Manolakos. The inscription (on the chest of the hanged man) readsː "This is how are punished the sell-outs (treacherous) assassins of Manolakos." This is one of the many horrific incidents that took place during the Nazi occupation of Greece between the collaborators of the Nazis and the members of the National Resistance. (1944)
